Winter

Saas-Almagell is situated in the region of the highest mountains in the Saas Valley in Switzerland.

In winter time the high-altitude valley benefits from its elevation and snow is guaranteed.

Apart from being able to ski up to an altitude of 3600 meter above sea-level, visitors also benefit from a broad variety of other winter activities and entertainment.

In the ski region of Saas-Almagell, Furggstalden, you find a chairlift which takes you upt to 2400 meter above sea-level. This is snow guaranteed ski fun for beginners and professionals! From Saas-Almagell you can also hop on the bus and reach the skiregions of Saas-Grund and Saas-Fee easily.

A  26km trail to Saas Balen is already prepared for cross-country skiers. Winter hikers can chose between a broad range of walks trhough the snowy area.

Summer

The Saas Valley is located in the south of Switzerland on the border to Italy. Despite the situation prevailing in the high alpine valley there is a mild and equitable climate.
The Saas valley is surrounded by a variety of mountains over 4000 meters  and allow majestic mountain tours on all levels. Besides the 350km of well-marked trails, the Saas Valley offers a broad variety of summer activities for young and old (in summer):
Summer skiing and snowboarding, mountain biking, mini golf, horse trekking, mountain climbing children scooters, and much more.
